Sierra Nevada University Selects OculusIT for Banner® Hosting and Managed Services

Chicago, IL. OculusIT, a leading Managed IT and Cloud Services company, recently announced its partnership with Sierra Nevada University for Banner® Hosting and Managed Services.

Sierra Nevada University required an experienced IT partner that could consult the University and augment its Banner® environment. OculusIT has over 15 years of experience in supporting higher education institutions with ERP hosting and managed services. The DBA team at OculusIT consists of highly skilled technicians that support campuses like Norwich University, City College of San Francisco, Texas A&M University, and Lake Michigan College with Banner® Hosting and Managed Services.

OculusIT will support the University with Banner® database and application administration and Argos® application reporting services with a full-time dedicated resource with backup. OculusIT will also provide a Banner® Functional Programmer Analyst for auditing the University’s current Banner® usage and assisting them in leveraging Banner® features and functionalities. The Analyst will act as a liaison between functional areas and the IT team to coordinate the implementation of all major Banner® system conversions.

Sierra Nevada University will also leverage from 24x7x365 cloud monitoring and Network Operations Center. OculusIT will also provide Banner® ERP hosting and backups on the OculusIT Hybrid Cloud. A dedicated Project Management Office, seamlessly integrated with the University team, will oversee timely completion of projects, monitoring and preparing detailed status reports for the University, thereby providing better control over the project. A Customer Success Manager will be provisioned to maintain regular communication, capture feedback and ensure the best service delivery standards for the University.
