OculusIT Welcomes Robert Henderson to Its Advisory Board

Robert joined the University of the Pacific in December 2000 and currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer and Vice President for Technology.

In this capacity, Robert collaborates closely with business units to identify the optimal roles and responsibilities for applications critical to the university’s success. He spearheads various security initiatives aimed at mitigating risks and enhancing Pacific Technology Safety, reflecting his commitment to safeguarding the institution’s digital infrastructure.

Throughout his tenure at the University of the Pacific, Robert has held various key positions, including Project Manager, Manager of Network Engineering Services, and Executive Director of Infrastructure Services. In these roles, he played pivotal roles in the implementation of internet technologies, new email systems, classroom technology enhancements, and infrastructure upgrades, contributing significantly to the university’s growth and modernization efforts.
