OculusIT Welcomes Jean Guezmir to Its Advisory Board

Jean currently serves as the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer (CIO) at St. Catherine University.
Jean’s extensive academic background includes an undergraduate degree in mathematics, economics, and accounting from St. Olaf College, demonstrating her strong foundation in quantitative analysis and financial management. Additionally, she pursued an MBA specializing in operations and strategy from the University of Minnesota, honing her skills in strategic planning and business development.
As the Senior Vice President and CIO at St. Catherine University, Jean spearheads technology strategy and oversight, driving modernization and innovation across all university departments. One of her notable achievements includes the pivotal role in integrating the Minneapolis and St. Paul campuses of St. Catherine University. She led the incorporation of high-tech capabilities into university facilities, including nursing simulation labs, physical therapy labs, and advanced classroom spaces. Her vision transformed the university’s infrastructure, facilitating seamless online course delivery during the COVID-19 pandemic.
