Cerritos College Partners with OculusIT for Virtual CISO-as-a-Service

SUMMIT, NEW JERSEY, May 26, 2022 – Cerritos College has expanded its managed security services relationship with OculusIT, higher education’s leading managed IT and cloud services company, to include Virtual Chief Information Security Officer (vCISO). With over 15 years of higher education IT experience, OculusIT has helped institutions with evolved SIEM, threat detection, and response solutions.

Cerritos College will experience the benefits of OculusIT’s Virtual Chief Information Security Officer (vCISO) Services for expert, independent, and unbiased review of risk, compliance, and security methodologies. The vCISO will serve as an information security liaison to auditors, assessors, and third parties and oversee policy development and recommendations with NIST, SANS, ISACA, and ISC2 requirements, while maintaining industry best practices and a cybersecurity roadmap with strategic guidance to the institution.
