Norwich University (A Banner® Institution) Selects OculusIT for ERP Cloud and Managed Services

Apr 11th 2017, Summit: OculusIT, a leading provider of enterprise cloud hosting, ERP management and consulting, and infrastructure managed services, is pleased to announce that Norwich University, located in Northfield, Vermont, has selected OculusIT as their partner to provide Cloud and Managed Services for their Ellucian Banner® student information system. As a part of this engagement, OculusIT will work to transform the way Norwich does business by providing their IT team with a team of cloud and ERP experts so that Norwich can continue to focus on its mission to develop and empower tomorrow’s leaders.

During the multi-year engagement, OculusIT will provide project management, Banner® cloud architecture, monitoring, hosting, system administration, system backup architecture, ERP system migration services, and ERP system management. The engagement, which began in February of 2017, has so far focused on utilizing OculusIT’s numerous technical resources to architect the Banner® cloud, develop project plans for migrating to the cloud and for system upgrades, and to assist Norwich University with connectivity. During 2017, systems will shift to the cloud and work will begin on upgrades and implementation of the next generation ERP.
