Grambling State University Awards Risk and Compliance Assessment Business to OculusIT

SUMMIT, NEW JERSEY, February 9, 2023  Grambling State University has expanded itsmanaged security services relationship with OculusIT higher education’s leading managed IT and cloud services company, to include GLBA Risk and Compliance Assessment Services. When the Louisiana-based public HBCU institution sought to collaborate with an experienced managed security services provider to reinforce its cybersecurity measures and protect proprietary institutional data,it turned to its existing partner, OculusIT OculusIT already supports Grambling State University withvirtual Chief Information Security Officer (vCISO) Services.

OculusIT’s Risk and Compliance Assessment Services will empower Grambling State University to gain an expert, independent, and unbiased review of risk, compliance, and security methodologies to ensure the institution meets the latest GLBA requirements. The services aim to detect opportunities to minimize risks for operations, fraud, reputation compliance, and technologies within higher education so that institutional and constituent data are protected and compliant with federal law.
