Community College of Baltimore County Selects OculusIT for Banner® Managed Services
Chicago, IL. OculusIT, a leading managed IT and cloud Services company, recently announced its partnership with Community College of Baltimore County for Banner® Managed Services.
CCBC was looking to partner with an expert ERP Managed Services provider, and selected OculusIT through a competitive bidding process. OculusIT will add value in managing the College’s database application & administration for Banner® and Oracle® upgrades. In the realm of Banner® upgrades, OculusIT experts will help upgrade the College from current 11g to 12 on Banner® job submission servers and recompile C and Cobol with the new versions. The team will also help the College migrate current Self‐Service Banner® 8 to Tomcat. Under Oracle® upgrades, CCBC will leverage from quarterly Critical Patchset Update and Patchset Update upgrades, OEM installation upgrades, Oracle® database and application servers monitoring, daily health checks, and performance tuning of their Oracle® database.
A dedicated Project Management Office seamlessly integrated with the CCBC team will oversee timely completion of projects, migration aspects, monitoring and preparing detailed status reports for the University, thereby providing better control over the project. A Customer Success Manager will be provisioned to maintain regular communication, capture feedback and ensure better service delivery standards for the College.
